You've got actual so-called journalists speculating about teams trading for RG3 to be their starter. Griffin is done. He's mentally broken.

Don't forget how they're offending people by the mere existence of their nickname.

I'll be interested to see if Gruden says Cousins is the starter "going forward" or the starter "for week 1."

I agree, RG3 will never take another snap in a Redskins uniform. Which is how it should be. Then again....these ARE the Skins....

There are calls for him to replace LTL's favorite QB, Josh McCown.

When was the last time the "he just needs a fresh start!" theory panned out with a player this terrible?

Their season doesn't start for 13 days. What are the odds Cousins gets hurt in practice before the opener?

If the Skins play Griffin again and risk him being injured they are dumber than I already thought they were. They can't risk him being hurt and having his 2016 contract guaranteed.

They'd be better off with Colt McCoy anyway.

They're screwed regardless, and we all benefit.

I'll make my prediction now: Griffin will start again, probably after their bye.

-- Cousins will throw, say, eight picks in the first three games, all losses.
-- McCoy will get the start against the Eagles, and they'll win, causing DC to go nuts.
-- McCoy will then regress to mediocrity vs. the Falcons and Jets, possibly costing them one or both games.
-- McCoy gets hurt vs. Tampa, Griffin comes in and leads a lackluster, run-heavy TD drive to beat the Bucs, 10-7.
-- Skins enter bye 2-5, Griffin named starter against the Patriots.
-- Patriots shellack Skins, Gruden names Griffin starter for the rest of the season to "give him one more chance" to play well in a bunch of meaningless games.
-- Griffin finishes the season with stats just good enough to entice Snyder to keep him one more year, and just bad enough to make it obvious to everyone else he'll never be a quality pro quarterback.
