    Trent Dilfer might qualify.

RGIII ran for 815 yards his rookie season. That was a huge part of his success, and it's something he will never regain.

Even his rookie year, the Redskins were 20th in passing offense and Griffin was 25th in pass attempts.

All right, well, not to get too far off on a tangent ... if Plunkett was "this terrible," then the answer to when the last time it panned out was, "35 years ago."

Not great odds for the Jets and RGIII, but they can try!

    Thought of another one ...

Vinny Testaverde became a serviceable QB for a long time (if not quite a star) after leaving the Bucs.

    Guess that's been answered.

For the season. Or until he's injured. Or until the throws INTs by the baker's dozen. Whichever comes first.

    Is Cousins better than McCoy?

I mean......maybe? If so, it's not by much, though.

He has a better arm and the potential to be more of a playmaker. McCoy is smarter, steadier and less prone to turnovers.

Brees was always good. He just got caught up in a numbers game once Rivers was drafted. He then became great in New Orleans.
