Supreme Court rules in favor of gay marriage

Saw this floating around yesterday. But the same people who will speak up for gay rights aand against Kim Davis' sort of Christianity go out of their way not to offend Muslims. So if this came to pass, it would largely be ignored (and thus accepted).

 

For sure. I could totally see a DMV clerk getting away with that on account of being a Muslim. I mean, that's just common sense.

 

There would not be near the public pressure. I mean, you wouldn't want to come off as a bigot, right?

 

I think cran would allow it.

Please don't tell me you actually think that DMV nonsense is real.

 

He isn't saying it's real.

He is saying he thinks it would work if a Muslim did try it.

 

I think what he's saying is that there would likely be somebody out there saying there's some nuance we need to consider ...

 

Well, let's recruit some for the DMV. And, we could use some as sportswriters too.

Well there is "somebody out there" saying just about everything. Most of it becomes a link posted by old_tony.

 

But a Muslim wouldn't be allowed to "try" it. If it happened, it would be shot down immediately. It would be over before it began.
