College Football 2015 Week 1 thread

I just read this and looked up to see him throw a pick 6 midway through the fourth quarter.

 

Michigan looks to be a good QB away from being a halfway decent team. Rudock did get a TD pass, but he got pretty lucky throwing into tight triple coverage. And then a pick-6.

 

Maybe Iowa sent Rudock to Michigan on a secret double agent mission to sabotage their season. His well-timed awful mistakes are the entire difference in this game. College football sure seemed easier with Andrew Luck as your QB, eh Jim?

 

Harbaugh's team once beat USC with Tavita Pritchard at quarterback.

I think he'll be OK.

 

Surprised that TCU hasn't pulled away already. Anybody watching who can give insight?

 

TCU is playing like a team that read its press clippings all off-season.

 

CU radio guys say less than 20k in the stands at Hawaii "so no real home field advantage." Spoken like someone who's never witnessed Aloha Stadium officiating.

 

Just not sharp and Minny's D is all right. They very well could be fine after shaking off the rust.

 

There is a special kind of clusterfuck going on in Hawaii right now. These teams are both a mess.

 

They'll be fine, but it's a bit more than QB, as well. They averaged 2.6 yards a carry. Very little push up front (although they did a decent job in pass pro), and those backs looked SLOW. Jake Butt is a nice option for them at TE, though.

 

Minnesota is a good football team. Not great, but well coached & a solid defensive team. Plus, give TCU some credit. That's a challenging, power 5 road trip to start their season.

 

As if on cue ...
Last play of the game, Hawaii leading 28-20. A Colorado player catches a pass inside the 10 and goes down inbounds near the sideline with about 12 seconds left. The ball is sent back in toward the middle, but when the line judge tosses it to the center judge it bounces off a Hawaii player. By the time the center judge picks it up and gets it ready for play, time runs out.
I guess that's just one of those things that happens? Should the clock have been stopped when it hit the Hawaii player and bounced away from the official?
