Joe Tessitore is the new host of College Football Final, I guess.

    What a square.

Yeah he is almost making me miss the vaudeville act of Holtz and May.

At least that was entertaining. This lounge act is terrible.

I don't know. I thought Game Day Final was better than College Game Day. No skits, no stunts. It was kind of refreshing.

You give up 66 to New Mexico you should disband your program.

It's OK. It's September. It's only bad if they do this when they play SEC teams in November. For some reason that's bad but this is OK.

    Oregon 61, Eastern Washington 42.

    USC 55, Arky State 6.

UCLA won big with a record performance by its freshman QB.

Not sure what happened to Arizona State. (Yes, got thumped but how/why?)

Arizona State couldn't block TAMU's DL. Just got completely dominated up front all day. Myles Garrett is a bad, bad man. There was a HUGE stretch of game where TAMU couldn't do shit offensively, but ASU couldn't take advantage.

I watched most of the first half. ASU *seemed* strong but played herky jerky. To be expected in a difficult first game such as this. Basically a road game in Texas.

9 sacks and 14 TFL for A&M. ASU's tackles were overmatched all day, and that killed both their running and passing games.
ASU D forgot how to tackle on one play - a WR screen that went 66 yards - and that just about sealed the game. Garbage time TD made the win look a bit more dominant than it felt for most of the game.

ASU QB isn't so strong either.

And while it's *just* Cruces, Florida's 61 is a nice way to start.
