Before yesterday Florida cracked 60 just once in its previous 63 games (65-0 v. Eastern Michigan last season).

Did it twice in '09 with 62-3 wins against Charleston Southern and FIU.

Bobby Williams was fired as head coach at Michigan State for overall complete bungling incompetence, but also special team screwups in particular. They had some shit where they blew several games in a row by failing to have 11 (or even 10) men on the field on special teams plays. The kickers Williams had at Sparty were not bad but the special TEAMS were horrible, which you might expect with 8-9 players on the field.

Notre Dame 38, Texas 3 is an eye opener as well.

Now's as good a time as any to again point out that Temple beat Pedo U, and its $4 million a year coach, 27-10, shutting out the Nits in the final 3 quarters.

Vols put up 59, but give up 425 yards passing and 30 points with Oklahoma coming to town next week.

and sacked Christian Hackenberg 10 times. Also, Black Ron Zook tried accusing Temple of using under-inflated balls. Not kidding.

It's going to be interesting to see how much of that getting torched was due to the DB coach's seat being empty in the press box, or due to the injuries that left two starters out, or maybe the D is just generally overrated and the secondary absolutely blows. But one thing's for sure, Bowling Green's fifth-year senior QB would be a starter on many SEC teams this season.

No FBS teams should be playing FCS teams in November. The "some reason" isn't all that murky.

Yeah not sure if it's a sign of how good ND is or how bad Texas is. I think it was mostly the latter. ND could also be really good. But Texas is definitely bad.
