Texas is horrendous, but ND does have a shot at being pretty good (pains me to type that). They had to play a ton of kids on D last year, with injuries and suspensions. They'll be deep on that side of the ball, as well as the OL. Schedule falls reasonably well, with Texas and Stanford, BC looking pretty weak, catching USC & Ga. Tech at home. Trip to Clemson is going to be a big one.

Having said that, they're pretty thin (experience wise) at QB & RB.....and it was announced this morning that Folston, the guy they were counting on to be the work horse RB, is done for the year with a knee.

Ok, he's the 3rd or 4th best QB in the MAC. Which SEC teams is he starting for??

At least Purdue is ending on an ordinary interception, instead of a third pick-6. Sheesh.

Probably none, or maybe one. But people need an arsenal of excuses/rationalizations, especially when a future 5-7 team like Tennessee is ranked and then shows why it shouldn't be.

Bowling Green's 5th year senior quarterback Matt Johnson had a 161 QB rating and a QBR of 69.4 his last season, during which time he won MVP of the MAC Championship Game.

    Compared to:
UGA's Grayson Lambert: 115 QB rating
USCe's Conner Mitch: 59.2 QBR rating
Vandy's Johnny McCrary: 61.6 QBR rating
aTm's Kyle Allen: 139 QB rating
Ky's Patrick Towels: 122 QB rating, 58 QBR

Now excuse me while I go play some music; I've suddenly had the urge to listen to some The The.
