Interesting. A difficult position to defend, but at least you're consistent.

That didn't bar many from interpreting it to mean that interracial marriage was proscribed by the Bible.

On their wedding day, turned away by NC magistrates

I didn't say there weren't ignorant people making decisions on misinterpretation. If people would carefully look at it before making those.....hell wars were fought in the middle ages over interpretation...well not interpretation but picking and choosing. Contextual criticism is also learning. Divorce outside of adultery was prohibited but no-fault divorce condemns those who didn't want it, whose spouse just up and decided they didn't want to be married anymore. If you think about the better example of two people working issues out and what that teaches their kids, we'd have people with better resolution skills AND more cases of fewer single parent homes which are financially strapped.

How about nudists, Baron? You ok with them? I don't see that massive public nudity harms anyone, so why is it illegal? Bigots.

    It can't be a choice?

The "hate the sin, love the sinner" argument is a really difficult line to toe. You so quickly move to hating the sinner that I don't know if it is one I'd mess with. This would be different if someone was asking to get married in her church. That's a can of worms I hope doesn't get opened. I'm not asking her to love homosexuality so much that she give it a try nor am I asking that she get up in a church service and say homosexuality is not a sin. But she has to recognize that we live in a world that isn't solely based on one religion or belief system and must be willing to do her job.

She's doing what you insist she does: Treat people equally.

You have absolutely no proof of that statement.
