See, it's a joke. You couldn't even tell he was in the race in the first place, so how would you know he's dropping out?

    Sheesh.

I thought for sure that Dick would post a thread: Rick Perry -- Out and Loving It!

Ben Carson is a genius. He's a precedent setting pediatric neurosurgeon. I don't care if he thinks Jesus rode dinosaurs, if you can't appreciate the man's intellect, you're missing something.

Ben Carson's problem is much like Trump's; he hasn't spent decades pondering the issues that consume the kind of political animals that normally run for President.

I just heard him on the radio, and the host asked him if he was, "ready for the 3:00AM phone call." Like me, maybe you can guess his answer. He responded that he was pretty sure he had received more 3:00AM phone calls than any of his rivals, and that these were calls where lives were on the line, and precision decisions were required.

And, if I had a child who needed neurosurgery, Ben Carson is who I would want to call, no matter the hour.

All that said, I'm not sure he's prepared for the situations that the POTUS would have to answer at 3:00AM, and I'm not sure why he's running for President.

Jay Farrar mocked Cruz the other day as a guy who thinks he's the smartest man in every room he walks into.

Now, I'm humble enough to admit that around my family dinner table, I'm not in the top five smartest guys in the room, and if we include wives, I probably don't make the top 10.

But, Ted Cruz is a guy that has walked into some pretty daunting rooms; the US Senate, the US Supreme Court, Alan Dershowitz's Harvard Law classroom, and in each case, you could make a credible argument that he is the smartest guy in the room. Dershowitz wouldn't argue with you, neither would Cruz's fiercest critics in the Senate.

As for the "shit that spews from his mouth, I think you might want to listen to him more carefully and/or provide some quotes of what he's said that you think is shit. He's very measured in what he says, and what he argues. Even when I disagree with him, I usually appreciate his argument.

To say Cruz is a clown, while arguing that Lincoln Chafee is not, exposes you as far more partisan that I previously imagined you to be.

Has Debbie Wasserman Schultz figured out what the difference is between a Democrat and a Socialist? She's had a couple of shots at the question, and whiffed each time.

The idea that a self identified Socialist has the Dem base all fired up is hysterical. The Dems are supposed to be mainstream, while Republicans are dominated by "fringe" types -- Tea Partiers, Fox News Zombies, etc.

Sanders exposes this as a lie. That the press ignores this is funny too. I'm sure it would be treated as exciting news if a self described Fascist was exciting Republicans primary voters the way Sanders is.

The only reason Trump isn't a self-described Fascist yet is nobody has told him that Fascists are badass. In every other regard, he already is.

Is that what this is? This is you flinging shot at Trump, because you think he "deserves" it?

    LOL. That's great!

Meanwhile, you'll be happy to vote for the original Birther -- Hillary Clinton. Oh yeah, she was pushing that story early and often. She's also the one that leaked the photo of Obama dressed in "Native" garb to Drudge, while working to win over "White Working Class Voters" in places like Pennsylvania. Why do you not hear her dog whistles?

I'm also not sure what my favorite part of this is.

Is it that your smears miss the mark with a guy who is famous for not drinking, and who has a reputation as a womanizer?

Or is it that a liberal, who is sure that Conservatives use the "N" word behind closed doors at every opportunity thinks that whites in fly over country are stereotypical country bumpkins, too dumb to think on their own. It's the kind of prejudice that make racism so abhorrent.

The fact that you also think that among the worst things you could accuse someone of is homosexual behavior also exposes you further as a bigot of the highest order.

You truly are everything you claim to hate. It's really sad. You are the other side of Yawn's coin, and you don't even realize it.

In case you're wondering, I probably won't be voting for the old bag. She had her shot and blew it.

**I** don't particularly give much of a shit about homosexual behavior himself, but if some rent-boy from the 1980s came out with pics of himself and Trump in a bathroom stall, 85% of his base would run for the hills.

And teabaggers being stupid -- well, they just are what we said they are.

"The old bag." LOL. Yeah, your misogyny probably makes it hard too.

Actually, pretty much everybody in the Dem field is an "old bag."

Obama is the first POTUS who's been younger than me; if I had my druthers, I'd never see another one older than me. I don't think the president should be a wheezing old geezer who will be dead in 15 years. He should have a personal stake in what the nation will look like in a generation (or two).

I think there should be a max age of 65 for inauguration as president.
