Read the fucking post I was responding to --which was about pulling troops out of Iraq--and it should be obvious to anyone with common sense that we were talking about Iraq, not Saudi Arabia or Kuwait. Sorry if you're too dense to follow context.

And doesn't actually matter if the word region, Iraq or whatever is used there. Either way, the meaning and point of the post remains exactly the same.

 

We were flying missions over Iraq on a daily basis, enforcing a no-fly zone.

It's the fucking ABSENCE of troops in Iraq that helped lead to the creation of ISIS.
