I liked 'Imitation Game,' but it wasn't as good as reports made it out to be.
In trying to give equal emphasis to the actual cracking of Enigma and his personal life, it failed to adequately explore either.
I also am consistently disappointed in movie portrayals of the Enigma story. So many factors went into the cracking of Enigma, but each movie wants to portray a single element as being the key.
The British got an early version of an Enigma machine from the Poles even before Hitler invaded Poland. Cracking Engima was a long and complicated endeavor that included a lot sacrifice by a lot of people.
Clearly, Turing was a huge part of it. One could argue the biggest part, and there is no denying that his treatment was despicable.
But he also didn't crack it single-handedly.

Saw No Escape in the theater today. Non-stop intensity.

Recently saw "Age of Adaline" with the wife and it was surprisingly watchable. It was beautifully directed - really, just a gorgeous looking film - and Harrison Ford gave arguably his best performance since The Fugitive. Seriously. Somehow, this sappy romance made more more excited about The Force Awakens because it showed Ford can still bring it. It's like I forgot how well he can act.

Blake Lively and Ellen Burstyn were also both very good. The film's ending was fairly predictable and the overuse of narration for exposition was awful and really took away from the film, but overall, I enjoyed it.

    Before We Go
    Captain America makes a 2-hour meet-cute. Wasn't awful, but wasn't great.

Probably one of my top five favorites. I'll watch it any time it comes on.

    Tiffany's isn't a restaurant. They don't serve breakfast.
