Is it still a thing to refer to females as "womyn?

That was a thing when I was a student.

Yeah, but the number two is Ben Carson.

Is he going to win? Could the party establishment get behind him.

Everyone else is in single digits, so one guy dropping out isn't going to change much, especially when there would be 15 other candidates going after their 3%.

And, since every candidate thinks that both Trump and Carson's support will eventually erode, they're all going to try and stay in as long as possible. It's like a short track speed skating race. Hang back, hope everyone in front of you crashes, glide to the gold.

They all also think Pawlenty dropped out too soon last cycle. Now, he may not have won the nomination, but like most of the others, he probably would have had his day in the sun as the Romney alternative, and maybe he would have capitalized on it unlike the others. No one wants to repeat that mistake and drop out before they get their chance.

Also, while it's fun to look at who was leading at this point in other cycles -- Gephardt, Giuliani, Thompson, Clinton, etc. -- none of the eventual nominees were as low as the presumed potential nominees in the Republican party this cycle. Romney wasn't at 6% four years ago.

That explains your misogyny ... You've fallen behind and gotten on the wrong side of history.

BTW, political reporting and punditry has been exposed once again this cycle.

Trump wasn't going to run. Trump would bow out quickly, having had his fun. Trump had blown his chances after what he said about McCain.

Clinton would win in a cake walk. Bernie was a joke. Sure, Bernie's support doubled, but it went from 4% to 8%, and that's where it will end.

Joe Biden won't run. Joe Biden is a great guy, but he shouldn't run, because he'll embarrass himself. Joe Biden could win the nomination!!

They were referred to as such because they didn't want themselves to be seen as less then men. That's misogynist?

    I would probably support Biden.

    Kind of sad, isn't it?

When Biden was chosen as VP, there was zero expectation that we would run to succeed Obama.

The 2010 and 2014 midterms have wiped out the Dem bench.

Sure demonstrates what a non-starter it is to fuck with social security.

Sad? Biden is more qualified than anyone in the GOP field and he's a guy who genuinely could bring the country together.

I'm not "advocating" for anything, but Cory Booker has more substantive political experience now than Obama had in 2007, with nearly the same charisma.
