Wait until the nation finds out what he thinks of Catholics, a topic in which the media mysteriously and curiously appears to have no interest whatsoever.

Adventist anti-Catholic hatred is alive and well

I personally miss the days of the semi-naked women thread, known as Random Images.

I'm fine with a Muslim being president, as long as policy isn't influenced by those beliefs. Same standard I would have for any other religion.

I think it's incredibly intolerant to say what he said.

I haven't paid a lot of attention to Carson, would he refuse to work on Saturday if he's president?

With this new pope, I guess it's cool for the right to hate Catholics again. JP 2.0 and Benedict were reliable ideological enforcers, but not this guy.

In a sixteen person race, it's not surprising that his numbers would fall a little after the debate, but he's still got a big lead. Last cycle, the "flavor of the week" took over the lead in the polls. Rick Fucking Perry led for a time. So did Rick Santorum, and I think even Herman Cain.

In this cycle, if you're the "flavor of the week" and you only get to second place, 10 points behind Trump, that's not so great. Plus, with the rise in the polls comes added scrutiny. If there's any two people in the race less likely than Donald Trump to win the nomination, it's Carly Fiorina and Ben Carson. There's no way Fiorina's record stands up to scrutiny.
