+1,000. Shit like this doesn't happen in any other Western democracy. Medicare-for-all or some other kind of single-payer system is the way to go.

 

One thing is clear -- being an asshole with questionable ethics is not a deterrent to making a lot of money.

Still doesn't make a 5,000% increase right but I'm interested to know if anyone fact-checked many of the things he said in the clip.

Not to sound like a birther/truther, but is anyone struck by just how convenient the timing is between this guy's ploy and Hillary's team hinting a few days ago that she was going to be jumping on the "Prescription drugs are too expensive!" train?

Regardless, I'd say the drug cost train would be a pretty good one for a political candidate to jump on right now, as it's certainly an issue that would resonate with a huge chunk of the American public. It's preposterous how much more Americans are forced to pay for the exact same drugs than do those living in other countries.

 

Safe bet this guy has a poster of Gordon Gecko and a copy of Wolf of Wall Street.
