Then again the GOP believes people are free to do what they want with their money while the DNC believes money should be confiscated at the end of a government gun to pay for programs and voters, neither of which work.

Yeah, so it would be nice to send them to places with actual doctors instead of fetus hunters.

You are aware that they don't force women to have abortions, right?

If people should be free to do what they want with their money, shouldn't they be free to do what they want with their bodies?

Not at the expense of other bodies.

They're not other bodies. They are inside and attached to a body.

This is one of those things that puzzle me. If the GOP passed a sequester-free continuing resolution (meaning lots of new spending) without funding for PP, I think Dems would say no go and I think many would blame the GOP for the shutdown. For whatever reason, no matter what dynamics are in play, when a shutdown looms the finger of blame inevitably points toward the GOP. Frankly, I'm surprised the Dems don't run the play even more often.

And that's true until the last second before the clump of cells is born.

Clearly the GOP hasn't recovered from the major losses they took in 2014 after the last shutdown.

Fair enough, but that 2014 success certainly doesn't seem to have translated into a greater willingness to tread that path, wouldn't you agree?

    Yup. Hence, Boehner is gone.

That was a home game against the Sisters of the Poor. See how well they do at a neutral site.
