At what point is there diminishing returns on all the advertising? Surely anybody who is even remotely interested in playing is well aware that Draft Kings and Fan Duel exist, what kind of prizes are available and that you can get a $200 bonus. But they are playing the ads so often and invading so many shows with product placement the backlash has begun.

At some point the high-volume advertising stops being worth it, right?

You would think so. But I think everyone knows about Coca-cola (and has for many years). Yet they keep advertising.

The obvious solution? Watch something besides football.

They advertise on everything, not just football. And yeah, Coke runs some ads, but doesn't beat you over the head wit the same two or three over and over again.

Why did everyone ignore my previous post? :) I can't imagine spending $600 million on advertising in a month is going to be a benefit. And I think the aggravation will keep some people who are considering playing from actually doing so.

It's fall, so I'm starting to watch hunting shows again leading up to the start of deer season. Those shows aren't safe from the damn ads. Every break had at least one.

Is there a word in the English language left that wouldn't trigger a $200 bonus credit?

I heard Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity doing live reads for Fan Duel in the past week. Not even politics is safe.

They are also doing ads on several podcasts I listen to, and only one of them is football-centric. Two are general interest and another is MMA-related. You can't escape these things.

The ads are on comedy podcasts and the hosts, who do live reads, have no interest in sports.

    Ask McDonalds. Or Walmart.

Does Walmart really advertise that much? I guess I don't really notice for whatever reason. At least Walmart and McDonald's run new ads sometimes to tell you what's on sale or if Shamrock shakes are back. It seems like the fantasy sites are the same thing every commercial break on every channel for two years.

And I like the product, I'm just getting very sick of the advertising.

Do any of you really believe that a degenerate is not going to gamble because of the amount of annoying ads?
