I get the feeling that Max Scherzer is a pretty good guy to have in the clubhouse, not to mention on the mound. He talks Papelbon down one day, throws seven hitless the next.

 

Potential AL MVP Josh Donaldson just failed to run out a grounder to second. LaTroy Hawkins did not get in his face.

 

Packers-Chiefs on ESPN, Cardinals-Pirates on ESPN2. Pretty good night to be a sports fan.

 

I'd so love to hear Jim Bouton's take on Papelbon-Harper.

 

Cards LF Stephen Piscotty just got KO'd by Peter Bourjos' knee in an outfield collision. Carted off, but waved to the crowd.
