I watched both Grandfathered and The Grinder. Both were amiable and harmless, but it seems like for each there is zero room for growth.

Ep 2 of Life in Pieces was a little better but still needs to be a lot less silly. It really seems like the producers don't know the difference between funny and silly. If they don't learn the difference quickly, this show with a very good cast is not going to last.

    I've watched the premiere of:
'The Bastard Executioner': not interested, will not be going back to that.
'Heroes Reborn': not interested, will not be going back to that.

To my surprise, I liked "Grandfathered" a little bit better. Stamos could turn out to be a very sympathetic character, and it sure helps to have the excellent Paget Brewster to play off him.

Finally a funny line on "Life in Pieces."

Daughter: Mom, can you sign this permission slip? It's for an overnight trip to Joshua Tree.

    Betsy Brandt's character: Who's chaperoning?

    Daughter: Kylie's mom.

    BB: No.

Daughter: Is it because she did porn?

BB(looking like this is news to her): It wasn't, but it is now.

Quality TBBT tonight. Simple plot, didn't try to do too much and was funny as hell. Sheldon singing we will rock you was great.

I didn't like Grandfathered as much tonight, and I'm finding The Grinder to be borderline unwatchable. Terrible waste of The Waitress.

I liked the first episode of the Grinder, but not enough to remember it was on tonight apparently.

That's how bad things are at NBC.
The Network of Cosby, Cheers and Seinfeld has ZERO funny shows. If it's not connected to Lorne Michaels, they've basically given up on comedy.

I watched Undateable which is shooting every episode live this year. It's not Cheers, but the live element makes it interesting at least.

I just finished this, and it was very, very good.

I did not know anything about the story before going in, and I think that made me enjoy it more.

The last 20 minutes are the best of the series.

Tons of nods to Wire fans.

I don't think Old Tony would enjoy it.
