The Freedom Caucus has about 30 votes. Why on earth do these guys have the impression they speak for the GOP or even all conservatives? The fight they promised (which would amount to sitting on the floor and throwing a tantrum) would have set them back another 20 years.

They lied to their constituents to get elected. Now they can't deliver and it's everyone else's fault.

You can't get in the debates if you don't reach a certain threshold in the polling.

Why can't Lessig reach the threshold? He's not included in the polling!

The far left isn't scary, just incompetent. They make a run at power once a decade, incompetently flail when they get it, lose power, then excoriate themselves while mumbling about how unfair everything is for the next decade. I'm not afraid of that.

Which is why some conservatives are backing Trump.

    See? We've come full circle.

A virtual unknown with no groundswell of support who launched his campaign four weeks ago can't get into the debate? How can that be?

The base of the GOP demands you agree with them lockstop on certain issues. So, of course, virtually every politician makes the soothing and angry sounds voters demand.

Shockingly, some don't follow through or even have a clue about how to proceed shrinking government, nuking health care back to the stone age, sending illegals back to wherever, etc.

He should still be included in the polling.

Apparently, they don't demand candidates agree with them lockstep -- I give you Donald Trump, frontrunner for the Republican nomination (much to the chagrin of party leadership).
