They'll have to frog-march Blatter out of office. But that isn't exactly breaking news.

My gut is that he didn't take a bribe Warner style.

Rodgers out at LFC. Apparently, losing Suarez and Sterling in the past two years is no excuse for being in 6th place.

Great USMNT-Mexico game last night. We lose 3-2 in OT.

Sort of a Catch-22. We will never have a real home-field advantage playing Mexico in Los Angeles, or any other place in California. But it's the only place a US-Mexico game will draw 93K. And, there just aren't a lot of big, natural grass stadiums anywhere anymore.

They could top 100K+ if they played at Jerry World. The pitch is shit, but it could be an advantage for the home team.

The 1st and 3rd goals for El Tri were excellent. We were just too slow on the flanks.
