Yes, really. Trump has his ride or die fanbase, but there's a low ceiling to his potential support. But under this rules setup, he (or potentially anyone, but he scares me the most) can become the nominee without coming close to winning the majority of voters in any state.

 

Saw something on my Facebook feed about Jeb planting a staffer to make Trump look anti-woman at a convention.

Trump loves women. He'd fuck millions of them, including his own daughter.

 

Wouldn't be the first time GOP brainiacs trying to game the system get bit in the ass by their own shenanigans.

Which was sort of the larger point of the article, although it was mostly centered on the Democrats constricting the debate schedule and how that is backfiring.

Six debates is plenty. Hold one a month. It allows enough time for things to change between debates and makes each one meaningful. I understand underdogs always want more debates since it's the only coverage they get, but if you can't prove you are the best candidate in six debates, you're not the best candidate.

 

It's not even 2016 yet. When did this debate shit start so early? It's like putting up Christmas decorations before Halloween.

 

God, I hate election season(s).
