He says I will finish ... your work

 

I think the line is "finish your work."

 

Then the answer is yes, I was reading—or hearing as it were—too much into it

 

I really should have watched this after I had my coffee. The line was "Nothing will stand in our way. I will finish what you started."

 

My guess is the woman is Han and Leia's daughter. I have no idea how the black character plays in, but he unveils a lightsaber at the very end, so he seems to be the one The Force is calling. I think. The Dark Sith is trying to carry on Vader's work/broaden the Dark Side, but I don't think there's a tie there other than that. And I watched it over, and over and over, for like an hour, and cranked up the surround sound for that one. Awesome.

 

I thought he said "I will fix your mess ... Lucas!"

 

That's perfectly normal and rational behavior, in case you were wondering.

 

And the way I perceive it, the black character is disillusioned with the Empire, and jettisons for Tattooine(?), where he hooks up with the female and goes on to fight for the Republic.

 

With both Death Stars destroyed, Vader dead and the Emperor seemingly dead, shouldnt the Empire have fallen. As there are only 2 Dark Siths at one time, The Emperor and Vader, who would take over?

 

I was not. But thanks! NOTHING gives me goosebumps like Star Wars.
