Speed, could you do some homework, cite examples, sources, data, throw in some footnotes, etc., so we can ignore that?

Dick Whitman will be arguing this same shit 40 years from now, and in the meantime, Colombians, Laotions and Hondurans will have exceeded African Americans in the pecking order.

OK. But why? What is it about African-Americans that holds them back?

Maybe it's not them but what's done to them?

You know what's great about America? The way our liberal institutions -- the news media, Hollywood, the fashion industry -- lead us by diversifying their own workforces, and by promoting men and women of color to positions of prominence.

For example, take a look at the diversity among the reporters covering the Hillary Clinton campaign:

Certainly not the worst pack of 6s I've seen.

Why aren't there any blacks in that picture?

    Because of slavery, of course.

Barely any men covering Hillary on a daily basis, and barely any women of color:

A few dozen reporters who regularly cover Hillary Clinton gathered last August to watch the first GOP debate at her headquarters in Brooklyn. MSNBC's Alex Seitz-Wald stopped for a moment and looked around.

A second later, he realized what seemed strange: He was the only man in the room.

At least 18 national media outlets have female reporters on the Clinton beat, across print, online, radio and TV, according to a POLITICO survey. Some, such as NBC, have as many as three. Local outlets in Iowa and New Hampshire have female reporters on Clinton, as well. No one can remember a political press corps this heavily female.
