The final days of McDonald's?

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by da man, Oct 16, 2015.

  1. As far as chicken .. I like their wraps. The grilled spicy chili chicken wrap is pretty tasty. I eat it about once a month. I haven't had their fries or a burgers in long time.
Once in a blue moon when the craving overtakes me I'll get their sausage gravy and biscuits. Then feel bad about myself for the rest of day.

Forgot to mention earlier -- McFlurry. With MnMs. Heavenly.

    Wings aren't food.

Chicken wings deep fried are no different than chicken breast or thighs or drumsticks deep fried. Yes, deep-frying is not a healthy way to cook food. But chicken wings or tenders made from large pieces of chicken breast are vastly different than tiny chicken parts combined with a paste and chicken broth and then formed and shaped.

Chicken wings or tenders that are made from large chunks of breast meat that are grilled are vastly more healthy than burgers. I don't think any sane person would argue against that.

    Congrats, YF.
At what point is it considered OK for a baby to try coffee? ;)

We went about a week ago because we were starved, there was no food in the house that wasn't frozen, it was late and McDonald's was the only thing nearby that was open. Fries were cold and tastelsss, my Big Mac was decent and my wife's double cheeseburger was decent but it was almost $10. For that slop? No thanks. On another note, I quit fast food for the most part about 18 months ago and my cholesterol level has plummeted. It's normal now.

Went for an Egg McMuffin this afternoon. Delightful food.

Could barely understand the cashier, but I don't want to turn this into a "Please speak fucking English in America" thread.

What o_t said. Jeez! Maybe the chicken wings and tenders you get at McD's are not food, but I've had some pretty damn delicious wings in my day.

Went to CFA for breakfast this morning. This is how it went:

Cashier: How can I help you?
Me: I'll take the chicken biscuit combo with a coffee, please.
Cashier: You got it. Is that it? That'll be $4.72
    Me: /swipes card
Cashier: Thank you and have a nice day.

I wish those assholes would quit trying to tell me their life stories!
