I don't know where you read that but your emotional reaction is understandable.

That reaction was understandable? If you say so.

    No, it absolutely was not.

Emotional outbursts make your other impassioned arguments look like a bunch of fancy lawyer tricks.

It's interesting to see this and so many other issues turn into a debate about racial stereotypes, or race in general.

If I could change one thing about politics in the U.S., it would be to make CLASS the No. 1 issue. How much money you make. Period.

Call it socialism or whatever you want, but if blacks, Asians, whites and everyone else looked past race and realized they were ... oh, let's call it the 99 percent ... we'd see real change in this country.

Instead, we argue about how OBAMA WANTS TO TAKE AWAY YOUR GUN or how different races, religions and/or sexual preferences are CHANGING THE AMERICA WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE.

Does Wall Street need to be occupied?

There was an article in The New Yorker about Bernie Sanders last month and it reported that blacks and Hispanics are leery of Bernie Sanders because he puts class ahead of race.

If I could change one thing about politics it would be to get the government to stop spending so damn much money -- especially the money it doesn't have.

Need to stick with the politicians who put race first. Eventually they'll fix everything.

For all the time I've "known" you on this board, I've never known you to be an asshole. But you look like one on this thread. I know you think you're just inserting the words you perceive others want to say, but it's backfiring badly. Please stop.

This. Fwiw, there was a time when I got annoyed by the way posters like riptide and a few others would troll and mock Dick. And I interjected in his defense a few times. But then threads like this come along and ...well ...I Get It. Some guys just beg to be trolled. Act like a douchebag, then expect to be treated like a douchebag.
