Anger, fear, last-wordism, talking about "the other side" ... These are of the dark side.

That's a great argument. Do they have an exact time frame in mind? They need to catch UAE soon.

Yep, this touches upon a basic problem with the US trying to lead any global effort on the issue: the rest of the world still views us as the guiltiest party in the room. We were at the forefront in creating this problem back when much of the world had not yet even begun to industrialize, we're responsible for immeasurably more carbon emissions historically than anyone else, and despite our recent awareness/attempts at reform, we still have about the highest per capita emission rate in the world.

But now we're gonna preach to poorer countries about what they can and can't do with their factories and cars to catch up economically? Yeah, I bet that plays real well with the average Chinese or Indian struggling to get by.

That may be so, but it's got diddly squat to do with why the rest of the world -- especially India and China -- ain't in any hurry to give up fossil fuels. They're in no hurry because: A) they're poor as church mice; and B) forswearing fossil fuel's use is at present the equivalent of pledging to remain so.

It's not about giving up fossil fuels. It's about using them cleaner. We don't have black smoke coming out of our cars' tailpipes. Other countries' autos do. Both are using fossil fuels.

Kill all the people who think we need to cut our energy use back to 1960s levels. That should cover it :)

Black smoke ain't the villain in the fossil fuels-global warming story ...

    A. A half-degree simply isn't a problem no matter how much the liars say it is.
    B. The climate has always changed naturally throughout history.
    C. If it's going to change, warmer is better than colder.
    D. The amount of earth occupied by humans is still miniscule compared to the oceans. In fact, only 3% of the earth is considered "urban," yet the great majority surface weather stations used to monitor climate are in urban areas.
    E. What does it say that leaders of the Global Warming crowd recently wrote to President Obama and AG Loretta Lynch asking them to prosecute Global Warming skeptics under RICO statutes? I'd really love to hear your thoughts on this.
    F. And, again, why did the leaders of the movement have to lie (as they were caught doing so in their emails)?
