S.C. deputy filmed slamming teen girl out of desk, dragging her away

She is a child. She is not held to the same standards of conduct as an adult police officer.

She was always going to be punished, and rightfully so, but that punishment should not have been assault by a police officer.

You can do that research. I know cops and teachers who work in inner city public high schools. They also have metal detectors at those schools. Without doing any research, I'll say the reason for that is kids were bring weapons into school.
