Next week is the only week you'd start Gore over Johnson.

You'll be able to start Langford for a couple weeks.

I sat him for Cam, who had outperformed Brees in every week except one and had a better match up against Indianapolis. The Giants secondary is good enough I worried about Brees throwing a couple of picks. I still won, but would have liked to have the additional 35 points for tiebreaker purposes as I sit tied for third.

Looks like WR is a bigger need for you to fill than RB. Does he have any WRs worthwhile? If not, I'd probably look at the list of QBs filtered by highest scoring, look for the guy with the worst QB situation and see if you can flip Rivers to him for the best WR you can get.

Assuming nobody else bites, yeah, I'd take C. Johnson for Rivers. Rivers' points are wasted on your bench. Also, I wouldn't make that deal until after you play the guy so Rivers can't hurt you. Luck is going to take a beating against Denver. Accept the trade on Saturday so it doesn't clear your league until Monday.

How did Cam outperform him in Weeks 1, 4, 5 unless your league is 5 points every 10 yrds rushing? Also Week 7 Brees 255 1 td 1 int Cam 197 1 td 3 int 20 yrds rush

Turned out it was one of THOSE weeks.

So it didn't matter that I sat Lewis -- everyone else went in the tank and I lost by 20. Lewis would have netted me 10 points over his replacement (Blount), so no harm. Just a crappy week.

On another team, I went into Monday trailing but favored. I had Luck and Hilton, my opponent had Vinatieri. I gave up on the game after Luck threw his second interception. I think he was 5-for-15 for 40 yards at the time, and it was early in the fourth quarter.

I checked back awhile later, when I thought the game was over, and it was in the final seconds, the Colts were at the 12 yard line and somehow, I was ahead. Even after the FG that sent it into overtime. I was ahead by a couple of points. Luck runs for 15 yards in OT, hits a pass and when Vinatieri kicks the go-ahead field goal, I'm still up -- by less than one point. When Carolina ties it, I'm thinking maybe Luck can pick up just enough points in the next drive to pull it out for me even with a winning FG.

Then he throws pick No. 3 and I'm dead.

    Once more, with feeling: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I picked up DeAngelo Williams on a whim last week just in case Bell got hurt. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a "good" move.

In that same league, I have Dez Bryant. I really need the Cowboys offense to locate the end zone once again.

In one 10-team league this week, I outscored eight teams but unfortunately played the one team that outscored me by nearly 40 points. :(

Yeah, eyeing the Romo return. Had him in two leagues as my starter. Luckily, I had Palmer as my backup in one of them.

I did the same thing with Jeremy Langford in two leagues in case Forte was dealt today. Sometimes flyers work out. Hoping I can turn him into something.

I'm now 1-7, I lost Steve Smith and half of my team is on a bye this week. Had "that week" in fantasy where you have to do four or five waiver wire pickups just to fill out a roster.
The worst fantasy season I ever had was when I started 0-12 in a dynasty league one year. That at least had a morbid curiosity to it, since it's almost as hard to go winless in a fantasy season as it is to go undefeated. This, though ... this just sucks. I've been pounding the wire every week and even got a few good ones here and there, but nothing is working. It's like trying to use the shock paddles on a patient who's been dead for two hours.
