Ben Carson: Bungling Surgeon

Carson's run so far is strong evidence of two things:

- Black people won't just vote for the black guy
- A large segment of Republicans will vote for anyone just to fuck with minorities

 

FYI, if you are drifting off the road or into the wrong lane, "fiercely jerking the wheel to the left" is a really, really bad way to correct that.

I may vote for Carson now just so he'll have someone to drive him around.

 

I thought that was the reason to vote for Rubio.

Double for Rubio -- him and especially his wife.

 

I just assumed the headline was from a satire site until you commented. Boy, that really plays into the criticism of him doesn't it.

I fell asleep driving home on the highway one night. Scared the living shit out of me. This was around 1991, and as is my norm, I was driving a shit car, which pulled to the left. So, when I fell asleep, I drifted into the Jersey barrier.

In the years since, I've pulled over to shut my eyes a few times when I was really sleepy. You do not want to fall asleep driving on the highway.

 

No big deal. I had a nice 10 minute nap on the Kansas Turnpike years ago.

More dangerously, I also created my own exit off a major freeway one night, also years ago.

I don't drive tired any more.

FWIW, I saw my first Ben Carson 2016 bumper sticker ("Heal. Inspire. Revive.") today. On the other side of the bumper was a sticker that said "STOP Planned Parenthood: Find out more at bencarson.com."

 

If he fell asleep so often driving I would think he fell asleep a few times during surgery as well. It's a regular thing:
