Math was not your strong suit was it?

There are 13 grades in school. I said after sophomore year, so that is 2/13ths of all teachers will be affected. But 2/3 of that will stay in their current positions so that would be 2/3 times 2/13 or 4/39ths. It's about 10 percent. Normal attrition takes care of that.

    Snark on.

The sarcasm is just dripping in your post.

YF may have been joking in his post, but I do see what Baron is talking about here. YF has questioned how much of a problem larger class sizes are in the past, so Baron took his comment as an attempt to bolster that argument. It is exactly the kind of stuff YF does.

That said, I'm assuming YF realizes there is a very large difference between teaching at the college level and teaching in high school and lower grades. I really do think YF was just trying to be funny.

The oop & Baron comedy tour would be a hoot.

Of course he was joking. Didn't require much deduction.

I agree that he was joking, but YF has made some questionable claims regarding education in the past. All I'm saying is I understand why Baron questioned the comment based on YF's history. YF is about as friendly to teachers as Chris Christie.
