Ben Carson: Bungling Surgeon

Ben was just too nice to fire the alcoholic secretary, who needed help, so God just got rid of her for him:

And in a particularly unnerving intercession, Carson asks God for help in dismissing his incompetent, alcoholic secretary without hurting her feelings. (“I’m softhearted,” the doctor assures, “and it is especially hard for me to fire somebody.”) Two weeks later, the secretary doesn’t show up for work. “We never did find out what happened to her,” Carson writes. “She simply disappeared.” He regrets not being able to help her, but nevertheless, he is “thankful that this problem was resolved without any unpleasantness on my part.” Prayers answered and unpleasantness avoided, at least for the softhearted surgeon.

 

I thought we needed creativity and innovation from the White House ...

 

I totally agree with the criticism.

That a Presidential candidate put out a autobiography that isn't completely factual should be disqualifying.

 

Maybe he knew Joe Gliniewicz.

 

Thank God we have an aggressive press who vets this kind of stuff, and who goes through candidates backgrounds.

 

I love the idea of a potential President too timid to fire an incompetent aide. That should work well.

Quite a contrast with Trump.

 

I would assume you're familiar with the phrase cui bono ...

 

But I was able to obtain the highest S.A.T. score in 20 years in the Detroit Public School system and it was because of the extra tutoring that I got from the teachers, who did want to teach, but were just in an environment where they didn’t get an opportunity to do it.

Yeah, he definitely has claimed this.

 

Chuck Todd, Rachel Maddow, and Gwen Ifill are very concerned that someone whose candidacy is based on their autobiography, might need some further vetting, as it looks like the autobiography might not be completely accurate.

Not sure how they keep a straight face when saying this.

 

But, he credits his inner-city public school teachers!

 

Absolutely no shame. Part of the liberal DNA.
