I was going to ask, where are all the other Mizzou athletes? Why are some football players the only ones who apparently think this is a big deal?

Agree. Some people are sneering at this, but if you are the university president and think it's someone else's job to make sure that racist behavior stops, it's time to try some other line of work.

If a university gets a reputation as a swell place to hold KKK meetings, it's time to make some serious changes.

 

These college presidents are no different from politicians. They need to know how to pander to the students without actually doing anything to help them. Gotta be an ex-Democratic pol or two looking for work in Missouri.

Should the students be allowed to vote on which groups can meet on campus as a matter of content?

 

I mean the perception of the school.

How are you going to get good students to go there if national media paints the racial situation as so bad that students are willing to starve to death 0r -- even worse -- skip football practice to protest it.
