Written in his usual I'm-cooler-than-you style ... but I can't say I disagree with most of the points.

 

Are you saying that more educated people are Democrats and the less educated are Republicans?

Turns out that the woman who was telling the first photog to "back off" was the school's director of Greek life and leadership.

This just keeps getting better and better.

 

Kudos to the photographer. He handled it pretty well. He could probably file assault charges on about a half-dozen people who grabbed at him or pushed him.

Seems to me that if you are in a public place and are "protesting" but don't want anyone near you, you have ceased to become a protester and are just a squatter.

 

Scrolling through twitter, I saw something from a Post-Dispatch photographer who said he felt safer at the Ferguson riots then he did on campus.

If he wasn't being sarcastic, that's pretty fucking remarkable.

Also of note, the J-School nerds are rising up to note that the needing some muscle professor is in the communications department and that is not part of the of the J-School.

 

Except she's listed in the J-school's faculty directory as "adjunct faculty" and "courtesy faculty"
