We have to keep two QBs on the roster.

Yeah, that team won anyway. It's 7-2 and in first place.

I have another team that is actually much better, but it's 3-6. This week I had the league's second-best score -- and still got beat by 20.

I like Taylor. Points with the run which he will do. One or two scores a game with around 180-250 passing. Then again, Mariota seems pretty promising.

I like Mariota, but he's had two great games and that's about it. As you said, Taylor's running is a bonus, and he has a lot more weapons than Mariota.

OK, I'm out of Luck: Andrew Luck out 2-6 weeks with lacerated kidney - NFL.com. He's QB on all three of my teams.

I have Carr in one league. I was going up pick up one-week backups in the others (Indy is off this week) -- possibly Cousins, given his matchup with Brandon Browner and New Orleans -- but now I have to think long-term.

I'm wondering if Hasselbeck might end up as my best bet.

    Time for some research!

Unless your somehow getting credit for Browner's PI flags, no way would I touch Cousins.

    Is Blake Bortles available?
He's actually a sneaky-effective fantasy QB lately. 298-plus on yardage in four of the last five games, at least one TD every game this season and multiple TDs in each of his last four. Down the stretch he's got games left against five of the 10 worst pass defenses in the league in terms of yardage allowed (including Baltimore and New Orleans in the next three), plus two against Tennessee and one against Houston.
Seems incredible to say, but Blake Bortles is going to win somebody a fantasy championship this season.

In a 20-team league? Maybe if someone with a good team has Luck or Big Ben, but could there be a 12-team or less league where someone has Bortles as their starter?

Was offered Hillman and M Bryant for Maclin and A Andrews. Rejected it because I think Andrews looks like the clear No. 1 in Tenn now, while Hillman is behind Anderson. W.O Big Ben rather have Maclin than Bryant although I think Bryant is better. Should I have made this trade?

Was thinking more along the lines of a guy you can pick up and stash now, and then plug in and play at the end of the season when teams start resting their starters.

Ahh. Your leagues go until Week 17? Always have ended Week 16, although even there you do get some starters sitting,

Won 2 straight weeks but still in 12th yet have allowed the 2nd-fewest points.
