The U.S. doesn't have to go it alone now. Now France is ready to slash throats, and Russia won't be far behind.

Lots of blood on tap in the desert.

Is stupidity a capability or the lack of a capability?

Yup. The only way there's a lot of planning necessary is if the perpetrators want to get out alive. Otherwise, like you said ... 15 minutes.

I'm guessing ISIS has plenty of both on hand already and has had them for quite some time now.

Again, I don't know what this is supposed to mean. You might try articulating your thoughts occasionally.

But if you're suggesting that Putin is somehow allied with ISIS, which seems to be the case, then it's one of the more batshit ignorant takes around here in some time. Especially since no country has been bombing ISIS more diligently than Russia in recent months. If anything, Putin may've moved into the top spot on the ISIS enemies list.

Unless things have changed recently (and I admit I haven't payed close enough attention), Russia has mostly targeted third-party groups that are fighting both Isis and the Syrian government.

They're sitting on tons of supplies taken from the Iraqi so-called security forces over a year ago.

OK, I'll give in a bit. The people posting photos of that one time they were in France on vacation because of this are fucking idiots.

Incorrect. You might google some phrases like Russia attacking ISIS for more info. Russia has been bombing the shit out of ISIS targets and ISIS supply lines, certainly more so than any other country in recent months.

It is true that there was controversy here about them also targeting third-party rebel groups (including those backed by our CIA)--which did not make us happy at all--and the US media has tended to focus on those issues rather than their attacks on ISIS. But, despite how it might get portrayed here, Russia has been doing serious work against ISIS. If you don't hear much about it perhaps its because Americans just seem to harbor a natural disinclination to ever give Russia credit for anything.
