Just looked through some photos, and noticed one of the vertical cushions on the ring was emblazoned with "DraftKings". smh

 

Rousey is done as a mainstream cultural celebrity. Claim to fame was that she was the unquestioned best, undefeated and no one was close. Now? Nothing special anymore. Semi-hot woman athlete?

 

Saw some highlights, save the KO... Rousey was crushed by Holm's punching. The slo-mos of some of those blows ... wow.

Exactly. A redemption story will be equally compelling to those casual fans who are aware of her now. Certainly some of the luster is off of her now, but she is good at selling a fight and she will be good at selling a rematch.

She didn't get caught with a random shot on the button though, which can happen to anyone and is cause to believe a rematch could be different. She got schooled and pummeled by a far superior boxer. Seems to me it would take many months to years to develop the defensive ability to deal with that.
