    Hahahahahaha.... oh, wait. You're serious.

If it's a sport, we had about 20 bouts in our local bar area last night. There's nothing to understand. It's barbarians beating the shit out of each other in front of bloodthirsty crowds of baying wolves.

Ok so both. You don't like or understand it.

Sounds a bit like any given Sunday afternoon during football season...

Until MMA starts having youth travel teams from age 6, I won't recognize it as a legitimate sport.

That would be pretty awesome, though. Cities building miniature octagon facilities with naming rights for local tattoo shops to try and get MMA youth travel teams to stay in their hotels, dine at their restaurants and spend their money chasing a 1/16th MMA college scholarship. Well, scratch that last part.

It's a sport about as much as Ronda Rousey is hot

If MMA is not a sport, neither is boxing.

Not going to disagree with you about Rousey's hotness. But anyone who acknowledges boxing and wrestling (not wrasslin) as sports has to do the same for MMA. If you don't, I still disagree, but at least your argument will be consistent.

Or you could say it more succinctly as TSP did.

What if I don't acknowledge boxing and wrestling as nothing more than two men or women beating the shit out of each other either?

Fine with me. Boxing lost me about 20 years ago.

Then you should probably extrapolate that to football.

The silver lining from last night is that maybe the idea will be hatched for Rousey and Danica Patrick to fight, MMA style.

With Tonya Harding will be guest referee.

    That I would watch.

    Winner stays relavant.
