Basically the day laborers that get picked up for work by contractors and landscapers and get paid in cash I'm sure pay taxes. And I'm sure their employers are also giving them W2 forms.

It's wrong to enter the country illegally and also wrong for employers that look to get cheap labor and pay under the table.

 

They don't pay property taxes, at least indirectly, or pay sales tax?

Pretty sure most don't own houses. yes they would pay sales tax when they buy something.

 

If you rent, you're paying property taxes. Think landlords eat that cost? Don't be such an idiot.
