I may not be the world's greatest practitioner of grammar, but at least I know how to finish a sentence.

It makes sense that moderate Dems in tossup seats might feel the need to go xenophobic on this issue. Personally, I think that's the wrong position, but I'm not a member of Congress.

What I'm curious about is how many - if any - conservatives are feeling the heat from their evangelical base to keep the doors open to refugees. Many, if not most, of the mainline evangelical groups have been supportive of bringing Syrians here.

For clarification, there are mainline Protestants (Episcopalians, most Lutherans, Methodists, and Presbyterians), evangelical Protestants (most Baptist, Assemblies of God, Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod), and black Protestants. Haven't seen mainline evangelical ever used.

So after all this talk about refugees have any of the attackers been proven to have been one?
