Today's gem from the TV listings:

"4 p.m. GOLF — LPGA Tour: Loreno Ochoa Invitational, first-round, at Mexico City"

    Who, again, is Loreno Ochoa?

Tuesday night, all NBA games had been finished earlier than normal (there weren't any games on the West Coast), and I was still waiting for the roundup more than 1 1/2 hours later.
Tuesdays aren't that busy guys....I ended up having to build my own roundup using the various NewsNows. What the heck were they doing over there?
And the roundups that they have been moving lately look like they've been edited by a third-grader. That's one reason I have to keep telling my guys to read the AP copy that comes in off of the wire. Just because it's an AP story doesn't mean it's error-free.

But isn't it easier just to say "we didn't write that, so it's not our fault"? lol

Uh, any chance we're getting a CY Young story with quotes tonight?

Ridiculous. No quotes at all until 10:10. But I guess they had to get them via conference calls.

This thread reminds me -- it's time to check out the locals for the daily laugh about the obvious mistake in the TV listings. Now that college basketball has started, the opportunities are plentiful.

More TV listings issues: The NBA listings have been way off (wrong teams, etc.) at least twice in the past few days.

The changes in NASCAR (dropping the race names for practice and qualifying) and golf listings (hyphenating first round, second round, etc.) have not been for the better, either.

I believe they had Clippers-Warriors listed when it was supposed to be Bulls-Warriors. And they don't list many college football games, opting to list the majority of them as TBA.

This score came over the wire before the game was actually over... Baylor 21, TCU 20, OT

Have you noticed that some women's basketball scores appear to be screwy, probably because AP is having trouble adjusting to the new four-quarters format. At leas twice I have seen scores that were like "Memphis 87, Alcorn State 35, 2OT."

To be fair, it's the new four-quarters format that's screwy!
