    Getting awfully tired of the "widows and orphans" bullshit, since the Syrian refugees are hardly limited to those two groups. That rhetoric cheapens the humanity of all the refugees, who deserve a safe haven in the countries that can offer them freedom. I see no reason the US cannot accept at least 100K this year. Canada should be able to take in that many, too. Ridiculous that a nation formed almost entirely of immigrants is trying to close the door.

    I think Germany should have to accommodate ohhhhh, about six million or so, too.
