That's the premise of every candidate's campaign. It was certainly the premise of our current community organizer-in-chief.

    Well, no.

Trump would 'certainly implement' national database for U.S. Muslims - CNNPolitics.com

Trump is way more over the top about it than anyone I can think of.

Obama in a tank would be a worse visual that Dukakis was.

    This is more Obama's speed.

His undoing may be that he's mostly a Democrat on social issues who may not really want to be president.

Seriously - I don't think trump wants the responsibility of foreign policy.

Nah, he'll just delegate everything as much as possible.

Exclusive: After Paris, Americans view Trump, Clinton as best able to tackle terrorism - poll
    Trump most trusted on terror.

Oddly enough, I think the "harshness" of his rhetoric makes him more believable in a lot of people's eyes. They figure any guy who is willing to go that far out on a limb obviously isn't just saying something to get elected. Even if you don't think Trump will ultimately win, you have to wonder where the 60 percent of the voters who favor him or Carson will go if it isn't one of them.

Did you watch the video? He's obviously not listening to the questions and keeps coming back to "they have to come into this country legally."

Granted, nothing he says makes sense, but he never says "we need to have all Muslims in a database" and he certainly never mentions badges, like others have indicated on this thread. It's not a plan of his that he has proposed. He's answering questions incoherently.

He's an idiot, but vilifying him over this is ridiculous.
