You might have missed his point, directed at some of the posters on here. And those folks don't seem to be interested in reading any of the links.

You don't say ... City pretty much locked down. Hope it prevents anything big.

You know you're winning a precious internet message board battle when you start a post with "You might wanna...."

    That's the good stuff.

Are we sure these women were worthy of a sympathetic A-1 profile in the NY Times?

Seriously, it was a fascinating look inside ISIS-occupied Raqqa as well as the mindsets of Muslim women.

Here's a hint for you: Islam isn't a race. I know that doesn't fit in to your clueless view, but it's a fact.

If he pointed out the bigotry inherent to these discussions, you'd have no argument because he is absolutely correct. His word choice was off, but he was making a good point.

National security is now bigotry? Holy fuck.

Not even close to what I said, tony. Please just stop being you for five seconds and try to actually understand what somebody else is posting.

I know you lack the integrity to admit to your own biases, but if you can't even grant that bigotry against Muslims is some factor in these debates, you are truly beyond help.

The best part is how you changed your argument twice already. Actually, it was YOU who brought the word racism into the exchange with Rick, not him. He suggested that your issue was with "brownish people" and you whined about him bringing an accusation of racism into the discussion.

When he threw your word back in your direction, you waited for two pages of posts to go by before your "Islam isn't a race" comment, hoping nobody would look back at the context. Sorry. You're busted there, too.

Now you are trying another one of your misleading reading comprehension failure tactics by blatantly misrepresenting my post.

You're the one calling people bigots because they're concerned with national security in a time where everyone should be concerned with national security. I admit, I don't like terrorists who bomb and kill innocent people. So fucking sue me.

We all do, but you also have problems with anybody who practices the same faith as some of those terrorists.

See my last post. I added something to it, pointing out just how deeply your intellectual dishonesty runs. YOU brought the word racism into the discussion, then waited two pages to criticize Rick for throwing it back at you. You posted in the interim, so it's not like you just weren't reading. You just hoped you could get away with the snark because nobody would look into the context.

And you have admitted biases against Muslims in the past. So have others on this board. So to sit there and argue that bigotry plays no part in this discussion is incredibly dishonest on your part.
