Absolutely correct. But unless you just admitted that you think the U.S. should be planning it's anti-terrorism defense around all of Islam and not just ISIS-connected militants, it doesn't make the point you think it made.

The fact that the boogeymen in these scenarios are not white is very much part of why they scare your ilk so badly.

Islam is not a race. The race of its most recognizable adherents contributes to your fear of them.

Actually, the only thing that pisses me off is the behavior of its extremists. Again, something you can't seem to grasp.

You don't understand your own fear.

As always, you reach for your strawman because you know you can't win on facts.

Give me a reason to stay riveted to this thread- it is worse than a YouTube comments string.

The majority of the House and Governors also belief that a Paris terrorist attack should be permitted every five days in the country because any restriction on guns is a restriction on freedom.

As far as the population goes, they're letting fear get in the way of reason. We've seen this multiple times before, such as in the late 1940s/early 50s, and in the early 2000s. After a few years, they realize how stupid they were to be so afraid.

I suspect the "ilk" to whom you refer probably are mostly frightened by the boogeymen's murderousness, not their skin.

Then why aren't they afraid of the murderousness of Americans with guns?

It's not an either-or. Human fear is a weird thing that has all kinds of contributors. We're not particularly rational creatures, and our fear is not proportional to the actual likelihood of something harming or killing us. Ebola scares us more than heart disease. Random acts of violence scare us more than driving on the highway. And when the random acts of violence are perpetrated by people who can easily be identified as "not like us," it becomes even more scary.

Conservatives in particular are more susceptible on average to fear and anxiety (or more sensitive to threats, if you prefer) than liberals: Unconscious Reactions Separate Liberals and Conservatives

Because we don't live in heavily Democrat areas so we're safe?

Movie theaters and schools are heavy Democratic areas?
