"Either they win ... or we do."

Or as Emilio Estevez once declared through tears: WIN! WIN! WIN!

Never let a crisis go to waste, right, @Armchair_QB?

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
-- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials

They wrote about police detaining "a number of people" for "allegedly" celebrating on rooftops. They didn't write about "thousands and thousands of people" cheering as the Towers fell.

Also, Trump previously said in his 9/11 book that he was in his apartment at Trump Tower (5th Avenue, NYC) on 9/11. In other words, not Jersey City.

    Trump is old_tony?

Donald Trump retweets ‘wildly + recklessly inaccurate’ crime statistics graphic on ‘whites killed by blacks’

    http://twitchy.com/2015/11/22/donal...tatistics-graphic-on-whites-killed-by-blacks/

Kevin Drum at Mother Jones and others caught the mistake. According to the latest FBI stats from 2014, the actual numbers are around “82 percent of whites were killed by other whites and 15 percent were killed by blacks.”

... And the stats for 2015 are not yet available nor can anyone find the source for the meme, listed as the “Crime Statistics Bureau — San Francisco”:

It is difficult to see his campaign surviving this.

I love how millions of people think they are supporting a campaign against "political correctness," but are really supporting a campaign to be liars and assholes without feeling shame.

I feel for them. The world hasn't been the same since they had to give up the black jokes.

Fortunately you can still make the women wisecracks in most settings.

    Serious hypothetical:

Donald Trump is polling about 30 percent, right now, in the Republican primaries.

Let's say that this afternoon, at some rally, he thunders:

"America cannot reach its potential until we eliminate these towel heads and niggers!"

He refuses to walk it back.

What does he poll a week from now?
