Well, he is a vice captain for the next Ryder Cup, so he can be warm and fuzzy at Hazeltine.

I would think that between his clothing line (which still sells very well) and the inevitable foray into golf-course design, he will stay pretty busy and refill the post-Elin coffers.

 

Yeah, it's over. As much as I don't like the guy it's sad to see someone who was so much a part of the sport's landscape for 20 years vanish.

As for what he does now, probably run his foundation and design courses. I don't think he would have any interest in being a commentator. I also don't think he would be any good at it.

 

He can buy a Perkins franchise. Then he can bang the wait staff on his desk and not have to slink off into the parking lot.

 

More time for his freqposter duties. So it's not all bad.

 

He'd have to clean up his language.

Would be interesting if his back injury didn't impede his golf game at all but made it completely agonizing to fuck.
