He sounds like a jealous asshole. She says she was afraid of him. He caused scenes in public. Accused her of flirting. Didn't like to be reminded that he she had dated others in the past.

 

He's toast. They might not get him for murder, but he's at least going away for manslaughter (or whatever the charge is there) for recklessly firing through a closed door, even if the judge buys his story that it was dark and he didn't know who was on the other side.

 

Not guilty of premeditated murder.
