How do you know this? They didn't seem all that bright. Their pipe bombs never went off (I guess the ones they had with them were fakes, but the ones at home didn't turn out to be much either.) Would they have been able to pull it off undetected? A large-scale industrial purchase like McVeigh's probably would have set off a warning. And then would they have been able to get into the room and rig it, or do whatever they needed to do for their chosen method of killing?

Their evil is unquestioned, but I think the access to guns was a unique opportunity for them. As noted a few pages earlier, terrorists are telling their followers that America is a land of opportunity precisely because of lax gun laws.

Has the CDC ever thought about looking at radical Islam as a public health issue?

Would the world be better if ruled from Vatican City, prior to the reformation? I think they were called the dark ages?

Were the Tsarnaev brothers criminal masterminds?

ISIS and Al-Queda have bomb making guides online. (As do others.) If you can follow a recipe, you can build a bomb.

And, even with just a knife, you can instill terror, as the Muslim terrorist in Merced did recently, and as happened recently in Jerusalem.

Yes, the old "But knives are terrorist weapons, too!"argument. Blehh.

How many people you think they take out with knives in San Bernardino?

Is the death toll all that matters?

It's about instilling fear. If we had Muslims stabbing people on a regular basis, it would be a big deal.

Take away guns, and they would resort to other means. They believe Jihad is an obligation. People that believe this aren't going to just give up because their weapon of choice might be hard to acquire.

    Isn't it?

Tell me how Israeli's felt about the recent knife attacks? Were they inconsequential because of the weapon used?

Well now you're in your "let's not deal with reality" jag.

Yes. The number of deaths matters.

Or maybe we should do away with DUI laws because some people still die.

You really are smarter than this.

Rampant paranoids are pretty good at fear-mongering, too. Take a coffee break once in a while.

Compare and contrast gun laws in the USA and Israel.
