The media loves the "Rebublicans attack" and "Rebublicans overreach" narrative when Dems are floundering.

Well, it's not like they're offering any actual solutions to the problem, so what else is the media supposed to write about?

    They didn't "attack?"

Politicians "attack" each other every minute of every day.

Republicans "attack" ... Democrats "note flaws with" or "call to task"

Correct. One party offers facts and reasoning. The other offers slogans and catchphrases.

I'm just waiting for one of the GOP's frontrunners to prove they are worthy of leading the country in a war against Islamist extremists...by reading My Pet Goat to a group of schoolchildren.

We weren't aware that the media cover politics, particularly election politics, as a competition?

There's no doubt that Republicans "attack" Dems and vice versa.

It's the way the story is framed. Dems can fuck something up, and instead of focusing on that, the media will write about how Republicans are "politicizing" it, or are using it to unfairly "attack" Dems, or maybe they're "overplaying their hand".

    It's silly.
