Well, we have had candidates talking about making the sand "glow," haven't we?

 

Well, that's a different topic, which got about 5% of the attention that his "plan" to stop Muslims from entering America.

And, it's certainly worth discussing, and criticizing.

But, again, it's not a real plan. It's bluster.

But, if our enemies think it might be true, that's not a bad thing.

For a decade now, we've telegraphed every move. We set withdraw dates, and announce them publicly. We tell the enemy what we won't do. We tell them we won't put "boots on the ground". We tell them what our rules of engagement are, which allows, and encourages them to use civilians as shields, and to fire on us from Mosques and hospitals. We tell them exactly what the rules are for our interrogations if they are captured.

And, they use all of this against us. We're so worried that what Trump is doing is hurting us. Telling the enemy our strategy hurts us.

We shouldn't tell our enemies -- especially enemies who do not fight in uniform, who don't fight in accordance with laws of war, who torture prisoners of war, and who aren't signatures of the Geneva Conventions -- what is off the table.

Trump want's to put everything back on the table. This doesn't mean he will kill families, fire on Mosques, or waterboard captives. But, at least they'll have to worry about it now.

 

Just as it is easier to get more Americans to hate and fear all Muslims when it appears they are at war with us, it's also easier to get more Muslims to hate and fear Americans if they think Americans are all at war with them.

Obviously there are Muslims and Americans who are easily led.

 

Yeah, there may be a problems with our maternity units, too.

 

Nukes and gas chambers are not the same thing!

 

Hey, Margaret Sanger and her followers have been working on this "problem" for decades.

Hillary even got an award named for her for her help on the issue.

If this is true, then it's a huge problem.

And, not printing Mohammed cartoons is not the way to deal with the problem.

Have we denied a single visa to a Muslim because of their views regarding gays? I'd really be interested to know the answer.

 

It has nothing to do with the problem.

We don't have a right to not be offended in America. We shouldn't limit our own rights in order to not offend Muslims. And, if offending Muslims makes them want to kill people, then we should address that problem, because it's a pretty big problem.

 

I thought we had that solved with the "good guy with a gun" solution. I'm on to the next problem.
